Welcome to the Spring Schedule! These classes will begin April 15th and run for 6 weeks, meeting once a week. Students will spend the first 4 weeks focused on constructing their pieces out of clay, followed by 2 weeks dedicated to glazing & finishing work.
The class fee includes all necessary instruction, access to equipment, clay, specialized tools, glaze, and coverage for all firings costs, ensuring a comprehensive and fulfilling experience.
Spring Offerings at Creative Vibes Studio:
INTRO TO CERAMICS
This beginner-friendly class requires no previous ceramic sculptural or wheel throwing experience at all. It is taught in a small, intimate setting that ensures plenty of one-on-one instruction time.

HAND BUILDING BEGINNER
This 2 hour class will explore a variety of introductory techniques specifically designed for hand building artistic & functional objects and requires absolutely no previous clay experience. During the course, you will have the opportunity to learn essential methods such as coiling, pinching, and slab building in a small, supportive class setting that encourages individual creativity.

THURSDAY MORNINGS

HAND BUILDING INTERMEDIATE
This 2 hour class is designed for students that already have foundational hand-building experience & skills with clay. During this course, you will have the opportunity to apply the essential methods you’ve already learned to continue to hand-build functional or sculptural works of art.

FRIDAY AFTERNOONS

PRIVATE LESSONS - 6 WEEKS
Interested in private lessons? Maybe for you, or your kiddo, or you AND your kiddo? Be sure to register while spots are still open!
In these 6, 2 HOUR private lessons, your instructor will teach you fundamental skills in hand building, wheel throwing, or a little bit of both. You will also learn the fundamental of surface design by glazing your fired work. Lessons are developed specifically for you, based on your level of experience and your creative interests.
Space is limited to 1 persons per class, or an adult + 1 kid, email with questions.

KIDS / TEENS - $250 PER PERSON

Private Lessons are offered once a week, the same day & time each week for 6 weeks from the date of your first lesson.

KIDS CLAY CLUB!

Kid Clay Club is a great way for kids learn and play with clay!
These engaging workshops include a 90 minute “themed” ceramic class, where kids will be guided through a specific hand-building lesson, step by step, to create their own sculptural and/or functional ceramic artwork. Their work will later be fired for them in the studio kiln, and be ready for them to decorate with colorful glazes during one of the following club classes!
Each Saturday is $15 per person, per session.
Can’t make it to the next session to glaze? No worries, your kiddo can create their ceramic piece and join a later club date to come back and glaze it.

Cancellation Policy - Because, Stuff Happens…
Space is limited in most classes offered, please contact the studio in a timely manner if you need to cancel or reschedule. In this circumstance, we would like to be able to offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.
*Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of class will receive a refund in the form of studio credit to be used towards rescheduling at a later date.
